CEO of Tehran Subway Company Ali Emam announced that 122 domestic producers have been approved by the “Domestic Manufacturing” working group to supply equipment for the Tehran Subway network, Trend reports via Fars News Agency.
Referring to forming a domestic manufacturing working group, Emam said that the domestic manufacturers have been approved to take part in equipping stations and lines as well.
The official also noted the domestic manufacturers’ potential in designing and manufacturing the necessary parts for the national subway train sector.
He stated that in the last two years, Tehran Metro Company, by forming a "domestic manufacturing" working group, encouraged the local producers to supply equipment for the capital's subway network.
