Until the end of the next Iranian year (ends on March 21, 2023), Tehran Metro Company plans to open 12 additional stations and 13 new entrances, if there's sufficient funding, top official at the Tehran Metro Company Amir Abbas Rezaie announced, Trend reports citing IRNA.
He also noted that new metro lines, will start operating.
He went on to say that the implementation of the contract for the construction of 105 wagons is on the agenda of Tehran Metro Company, by 2023.
"We are planning to complete tunneling and railroad infrastructure in the southern flank of Line 6, which runs 7.5 kilometers up to Shah Abdolazim Shrine Station, he added.
