BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 6. Iran's exports of non-oil products increased by 19.2 percent in value terms and 31 percent in weight terms compared to the same month of last year in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (from January 21 through February 19, 2024), the representative of the Central Union of Rural and Agricultural cooperatives of Iran, Rouhollah Latifi wrote on social media, Trend reports.
According to Latifi, Iran exported 11.3 million tons of non-oil products worth $4.24 billion in 11 months.
Latifi added that in 11 months Iran exported non-oil products mainly to China worth $1.12 billion, Iraq - about $812 million, UAE - $627 million, Türkiye - $314 million, Pakistan - about $199 million, Afghanistan - $195 million, India - $179 million.
Latifi stated that in the 11th month, Iran's non-oil trade with other countries amounted to about 14.4 million tons worth about $9.67 billion. This is an 11 percent increase in value and 26.3 percent by weight compared to the same month last year.
To note, the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration indicated that Iran's exports of non-oil products amounted to about 125 million tons worth about $44.9 billion in the first 11 months. Iran's exports of non-oil products decreased by 8.87 percent in value terms and increased by 11.4 percent in weight terms.
