BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 6. About 39.3 million tons of non-oil products worth $10.9 billion were exported from Hormozgan province located in the south of Iran during the 11th months of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through February 19, 2024), Trend reports, referring to the Iranian Customs Administration.
Hormozgan province exported mainly petroleum products, cast iron, iron and steel products, various minerals, rubber substances, and copper during the 11 months.
The products were mainly exported to UAE, Indonesia, China, Oman and India.
A total of 5.11 million tons of products were transported through the region to other countries in the first 11 months.
To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, Iran's exports of non-oil products in 11 months amounted to about 125 million tons worth about $44.9 billion. Iran's exports of non-oil products decreased by 8.87 percent in value terms and increased by 11.4 percent in weight terms.
