Iran's Shahid Bakeri TPP boosts power generation capacity

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. The potential of electricity production at the Shahid Bakeri thermal power plant (TPP) in Semnan province, located in the north of Iran, increased to 690 megawatt hours, the Administration of Iran's President said, Trend reports.

According to the information, Shahid Bakeri TPP had two gas-fired units with a production potential of 162 megawatt-hours each. A total of 366 megawatt hours have been added to this production potential.

Within the framework of phase 2, a total of 90 million euros was spent.

Meanwhile, two E-type units have been commissioned at Shahid Bakeri TPP Phase 2.

To note, an event was held on April 18 in connection with the commissioning of the second stage of the Shahid Bakeri thermal power plant. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other officials attended the event.
