Iranian MPs sign motion to impeach Road minister
Baku, Azerbaijan, May 3
By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Twenty four Iranian MPs have signed a motion to impeach the country's Roads and Urban Development Minister Abbas Akhoundi, MP Mousarreza Servati said.
The motion has been submitted to the parliament's presiding board, but the presiding board is resisting accepting the impeachment, Iran's Fars news agency quoted Servati as saying on May 3.
The presiding board is illegitimately supporting the roads and urban Development Minister, he noted.
"The minister pledges, but do not meet. Today, neither the problem of housing nor the problem of flights has been resolved. Development problems are also extant," Servati added.
