President: Iran ready for further cooperation as nuclear talks inch final stage
President Hassan Rouhani said as negotiations over Iran's peaceful nuclear program are heading to a conclusion and Western powers have admitted that Iran cannot be stopped in the march to scientific achievements, Iran is ready for enhanced cooperation, IRNA reported.
Addressing a joint summit meeting of Shanhgai Cooperation Organization (SCO), BRICS and Eurasia in Ufa, Russia, he also said that an era of threats and sanctions is over and that Tehran is ready for further ties with world's emerging economic powers.
Stressing that Iran is more than ever before for friendship, cooperation, interaction and understanding, he said, in the post-sanctions period, Iran is ready for further cooperation to play a bigger role in global peace, stability and security.
On nuclear negotiations, he said the countries that were moving a wrong path have gathered in Vienna to pass over their self-fabricated crisis, since Western powers have admitted that Iran's scienitific development cannot be stopped.
