Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept. 13
By Fatih Karimov - Trend:
Iran does not see the nuclear agreement as the 'end of the road', Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said.
"The nuclear agreement would be a start for promoting a friendlier atmosphere and boosting cooperation with different countries," the president's official website quoted Rouhani as saying on September 13.
Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting in Tehran with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira.
Iran and Brazil have always had friendly ties based on mutual interests, he said, adding that the two sides have notably progressed in industrial and technical fields, and can share experiences in these areas.
Brazil made considerable efforts to resolve the nuclear dispute, Rouhani said. Viewpoints of Iran and Brazil in political and international issues are close to each other, he noted.
The Brazilian official, for his part, called for enhancing bilateral ties in economic and political sectors.
He added that Brazil will support any move aiming to combat terrorism and believe that the use of force will not be beneficial to deal with international crises.
