Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu arrived in Tehran on June 9 to take part in a trilateral meeting with his Iranian and Syrian counterparts.
They will discuss the fight against terrorism, regional and international processes, IRNA reported June 9.
On the invitation of Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan, his Russian and Syrian counterparts, Shoigu and Fahd Jassem al-Freij, will participate in the meeting to discuss the solutions to deal with terrorism, Mehr news agency reported earlier.
