Iran’s Khatam ul-Anbiya Air Defense Base has announced it has installed facilities in about 3,700 locations across the country.

The announcement was made by the base’s commander Farzad Esmaili, who underlined that before the unit was launched in 2008, Iran had only 400 spots under surveillance, Mehr news agency reported September 9.

Recently, it was announced that Iran had used its long-overdue S-300 missiles – that it received from Russia – to secure its nuclear facilities.
