Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly Laszlo Kover and his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani have met in Tehran to discuss expansion of trade ties.

Larijani has said the sides discussed broadening of trade ties as well as terrorism crises during the meeting on Nov. 12, IRNA news agency reports.

Speaking at a joint press conference with his Hungarian counterpart, Larijani said that investment in the sectors of energy, bus making and environment was discussed during the meeting.

Iranian speaker added that both countries share common viewpoints regarding the issue of terrorism.

Ali Larijani noted that the ongoing visit would have a positive impact on both expansion of trade ties and combating terrorism.
