Iranian pilgrims' death toll in Iraq reaches 40

The number of Iranian pilgrims, killed in a suicide attack in Iraq has reached 40, Iran’s state TV IRIB reported Nov.25.
According to the report, about 100 people were killed in the suicide attack on pilgrims. The report said the bodies of some 15 individuals haven’t been identified yet.
Meanwhile, IRNA news agency also reported that 30 Iranian pilgrims were wounded in the attack.
A truck bomb went off in the Shoumeli village, 120 kilometers southeast of Baghdad, targeting vehicles loaded with passengers most of them Iranians who were returning home from the holy shrines in Iraq after Arba'een rituals on Nov.24.
