An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted the Sirach town in Kerman province on Tuesday night, IRNA reported.
According to Tehran University's seismological center, the quake happened at 21:55 at the longitude of 57.62 and 30.31 latitude.
There are no reports of the possible casualties and damages yet.
