Iran warns its citizens about Turkey trips

Iran’s foreign ministry issued a statement, warning Iranians about Turkey trips.
The statement which was published by the ministry’s official website urges citizens to avoid unnecessary trips to Turkey during upcoming Nowruz holidays.
“Considering the security conditions in Turkey in recent months and concerns for safety of Iranian citizens, all Iranians who intend to visit Turkey are strongly recommended to avoid making unnecessary trips and take all necessary measures if the visit is unavoidable,” the statement reads.
Nowruz, which is celebrated by more than 300 million people worldwide, is the first day of spring. This holiday also coincides with the start of the New Year in Iran.
