Following the negotiations in an extended format with the participation of delegations headed by Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan the two countries signed documents.
Aliyev and Nazarbayev signed a "Joint Declaration of the President of Azerbaijan and President of Kazakhstan".
Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kazykhanov signed an "Agreement on mutual allocation of lands for diplomatic representations between Azerbaijani Government and Government of Kazakhstan".
Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kazykhanov signed "Protocol on Cooperation between Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry and Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan".
Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov and Transport and Communications Minister of Kazakhstan Berik Kamaliyev signed the "Agreement on Cooperation on sea trade navigation between the Government of Azerbaijan and Government of Kazakhstan".
