According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Agency, Azerbaijan's GDP increased by 0.2 percent in January-November 2011 compared to the same period of 2010. The current price of GDP indicator reached 45.5 billion manat. GDP nominal growth hit 19 percent.
GDP per capita hit 5.026.3 manat ($6.362.4).
The non-oil sector increased by 9.5 percent and hit 21.5 billion manat but the oil and gas sector decreased by 9.1 percent.
The total production volume declined by 3.3 percent in all sectors of the economy and amounted to 31.1 billion manat, from which 54.9 percent of GDP (24.96 billion manat) fall to industrial production. In services with manufacturing value added, an increase of 6.4 percent was seen compared to the same period of 2010, reaching 11.7 billion manat.
Value added worth 2.6 billion manat was generated in agriculture, hunting, and forestry sectors - 5.6 percent of GDP, trade and repair of vehicles - 3.1 billion manat (6.7 percent), the construction sector - 3.5 billion manat (7.8 percent), transport and storage economy - 2.4 billion manat (5.2 percent), communications and information - 751.7 million manat (1.7 percent), social and other services - 4.99 billion manat (11 percent), accommodation of tourists and public catering - 538.7 million manat (1.2 percent).
Net taxes on products and imports increased by 7.9 percent and amounted to 2.4 billion manat, or 5.9 percent of GDP.

In January-November 2011, the amount of industrial production in Azerbaijan composed 31.2 billion manat, which is 5 % less than the same period of 2010.
In January-November 2011, the share of non-state sector decreased by 9.3 percent and hit 81.7 percent of the total industrial production compared to the same period of the last year. About 92.7 percent accounted for manufacture of industrial products and 7.3 percent for industrial services. The production in non-oil sector increased by 9.7 percent.
During the reported period, the volume of production in the extractive industry decreased by 8.2 percent, reaching 24.3 billion manat with weight of 78 percent of all industrial production. The volume of oil produced during the period hit 42.2 million tons and natural gas production - 23.8 billion cubic meters.
The amount of production in processing industry totaled 5.3 billion manat, increasing by 7 percent.
Significant growth was observed in production of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (8.5 percent), rubber and plastic products (34.6 percent), metallurgy (92.2 percent), chemical industry (30.3 percent), furniture (16 percent), clothing (57.2 percent).
Food production also increased by 6.3 percent. Production of sausage products in the country grew by 12 percent, amounting to 1,800 tons, meat - by 4.6 percent (236,000 tons), milk - 5.1 percent (646,700 tons), butter - 0.8 percent (19,300 tons), sugar - by 9.3 percent (303,700 tons), cheese and curd - by 2.2 percent (40,500 tons).
Azerbaijan has started commercial production of gold since July 2009. The volumes of silver production have been announced since 2010. In January-November 2011 it reduced the production of gold by 11.8 percent, and silver production - by 3 percent.
During the first 11 months of 2011 the country produced 2,759 kg of precious metals (including 202 kg in November), which was 8.5 percent less than its production over the same period of 2010. At the same storage reserves of precious metals hit 57 kg (+7 kg in November).
In January-November 2011, Azerbaijan produced 1,637 kg of gold and 1,122 kg of silver.
About 143 kg of gold and 59 kg of silver were produced in November. The gold reserves hit 32 kg (+3 kg in November) and 25 kg of silver (+4 kg).
The total of agricultural products at actual prices for the eleven months of 2011 amounted to 4.383 billion manat, which is 6.8 percent more than the same period of the last year. In particular, livestock grew at actual prices by 3.6 percent, while crop production - by 9.4 percent.
The foreign trade turnover with 148 world countries amounted to $ 33.151 billion in January-November 2011, or 31.98 percent more than in January-November last year. The volume of exports increased by 27.01 percent to $ 24.643 billion compared to the same period of 2010. Azerbaijan exported 2,017 products, and imported 6,112 different goods. The index of export exceeded import in January-November. This formed the foreign trade surplus to the amount of $ 16.135 billion.
Nearly 10.017.2bln manat was invested in the economy of Azerbaijan in January-November 2011, an increase of 28.3% from the figures of the same period of the last year. Especially, in November 2011, 1.367.9 billion manat was invested in Azerbaijan's economy, which is 2 percent more than investments in November 2010.
In January-November 2011, a rise of the retail goods turnover and paid services offered to population increased by 9.6 percent compared to January-November 2010 and amounted to 19.1 billion manat. In particular, 74.8 percent accounted for retail sales, 19.9 percent - paid services.
In November 2011, the prices for consumer goods and tariffs for services remained unchanged compared to the previous month, and compared to January-November 2010 increased by 8.0 percent (data from the State Statistics Committee).
According to the data provided by the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, in January-November 2011, the nominal income of the population totaled 27.277.9 billion manat which is 19.2 percent more as compared to January-November 2010. Thus, during this period, the nominal income of the population per capita increased by 17.6 percent to 3.014.9 manat. Thanks to the socially oriented programs and government decrees, the rate of income growth surpassed last year's growth rate for this indicator. So, in January-November 2010, the nominal income rose by 12 percent, while per capita income by 10.7 percent.
In January-November 2011, the average rate of manat to the U.S. dollar was 0.79 manat per dollar, the euro, - 1.07 manat per euro, the Russian ruble - 2.55 manat per 100 ruble.
