Public budget of Azerbaijan (jan.-sept. 2012)

Actual revenue in the revenue part of Azerbaijan's state budget amounted to 12.521 billion manat in January-September 2012 increasing by 39.4 percent compared to the same period of 2011.

State budget expenditures amounted to 11.074.3 billion manat. The budget surplus for January - September amounted to 1.446.7 billion manat.

Some 4.554.5 billion manat in the structure of revenues is provided by the Ministry of Taxes. Revenues from customs duties and taxes amounted to 880.8 million manat, from other sources - 7.085.7 billion manat.

Some 206 million manat of the budget (18.5 percent more compared to the same period of 2011) was directed to social security and protection of the population; education - 12.7 million manat (1.5 percent), health care - 55.4 million manat (17.1 percent), maintenance of the prosecution, security, law enforcement, judicial authorities - 513.9 million manat (5.3 percent), investments in the economy - 130.6 million manat (28.7 percent).

Some 47.8 million manat (30.6 percent more) of the total investment was directed for housing and utility costs; for agriculture, forestry, environment and fishery - 46.2 million manat (14.7 percent), transport and communications - 8.9 million manat (22.5 percent).

Revenues of the budget for this period were executed at 103.1 per cent of the forecast, expenditures - at 90.1 percent.
