Uzkimyosanoat (Uzbek chemical industry) State Joint Stock Company has announced a tender for the purchase of special equipment for the quarries of the Kungrad soda plant, the company said.
In particular, the company intends to acquire a hydraulic, crawler excavator, a dump truck with a capacity of 45 tons, a wheel loader and a bulldozer.
Foreign companies and organisations, as well as domestic manufacturers (suppliers), including small businesses with experience in the delivery of appropriate volumes of products purchased on a tender basis, as well as the manufacturers of the products and , or, their authorised suppliers can participate in the auction.
Bids will be accepted until February 24, 2014. The tender results will be summed up by late March.
Uzbekistan announces tender for increasing capacity of glass plant
Uzbek Mekhnat LLC (Tashkent province), the largest wine-making producer in the republic has announced a tender for increasing the capacity of the Asl Oyna plant for production of glassware with the starting price of 11.3 million euros, the LLC said.
In accordance with the tender terms, the winner will have to deliver a "turnkey" glass melting furnace with the capacity of 120 tons of glass melt per day, as well as associated equipment, the LLC said. The newly constructed furnace will double the plant's capacity. The implementation time of the project is one year.
The tender bids will be accepted until Feb.24 and the results of the tender will be announced in late March. The project will be financed by the plant's owners.
