International observers believe that the presidential elections in Armenia on Monday were held with some irregularities, PACE representative Karin Woldseth said at a news conference in Yerevan, RIA Novosti reported.

International observers believe that the presidential elections in Armenia on Monday were held with some irregularities, PACE representative Karin Woldseth said at a news conference in Yerevan, RIA Novosti reported.

"The elections were held with some irregularities, in particular, abuse of administrative resources," she said. "The electoral process in the country had improved since the previous elections."

The presidential elections were held in Armenia on Feb. 18.

According to the results, Armenian incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan won the presidential elections scoring 58.64 percent of the vote. First Foreign Minister of Armenia Raffi Hovannisian ranked second scoring 36.75 percent of the vote, Former Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan ranked third scoring 2.15 percent.
