Deputy chairman of the "Heritage" opposition party Armen Martirosyan, who heads the 'Hello Yerevan' bloc, expressed confidence that the bloc "will win an absolute majority" in the upcoming elections of the Council of Elders, Mediamax reported today.
Martirosyan added that there will be a new mayor and a new council of elders in Yerevan.
Regarding the campaign, he stressed that it was not as transparent and honest as in previous years.
"Free and fair elections are still a dream," Martirosyan said.
The elections to the Council of Elders, which will include seven political parties, will be held on May 5.
