Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Russia held consultations on cooperation in the Council of Europe, Armenia Today reported with reference to the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.
The consultations were held in Yerevan under the chairmanship of the Head of European Affairs Department of the Armenian Foreign Office Armen Liloyan and head of the Pan-European Cooperation Department of the Russian Foreign Minister Ivan Soltanovsky.
They discussed the results of the 123rd session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, the priorities of Armenia's chairmanship in the Committee of Ministers, the reforms in the Council of Europe. They also touched upon the cooperation in the framework of the Committee of Ministers and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe
On the same day Ivan Soltanovsky was received by the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
