Armenian, Russian foreign ministries hold consultations
The Armenian and Russian foreign ministries held consultations on relations with North American countries in Yerevan on May 23, Armenia Today reported on May 24 citing the Armenian foreign ministry.
A delegation of the Russian foreign ministry was headed by Director of the Department for North America Alexander Darchiyev, while an Armenian delegation - by Deputy Foreign Minister Ashot Hovakimyan.
The sides discussed various aspects of the two countries' relations with Canada and the U.S, stressing the importance and advisability of such consultations.
It is also planned to hold the Armenian-Russian consultations on relations with Central American and South American countries.
