Armenian president holds emergency meeting due to murder in Gyumri

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan held an emergency selector meeting with the heads of law enforcement agencies in connection with a murder in Gyumri, Armenian media reported citing the presidential press-service.
The importance of clarifying the details of the murder, searching for the perpetrators and bringing them to justice was stressed during the meeting.
Earlier Armenian media reported that a family of six people, including a two year old child, were brutally murdered in the second largest city of Armenia - Gyumri.
The information was confirmed by Shirak region prosecutor Raffi Aslanyan.
The main suspect is a representative of the Russian base Valery Permyakov.
The military footwear, an AK 74 submachine gun, shells and cartridge clip were found at the crime scene, spokesperson for the Armenian Investigative Committee Sona Truzyan said.
