Georgia, Tbilisi, 7 May / Trend corr N. Kirtskhalia/ "The United States is ready to actively support Georgia to enable it to develop in a peaceful and democratic way," Nino Burjanadze, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, said after meeting with the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
"It was emphasized at the meeting that Georgia will receive profound continuous support from the USA," Burjanadze said.
She said that the United States shares Georgia's concern about Russia's one-sided actions in Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
