National Movement of Georgia is Likely to Obtain 49 Mandates on Proportional System

Georgia, Tbilisi / corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia/ The ruling National Movement of Georgia is likely to obtain 49 mandates in the parliament on proportional system, the spokesman of the Central Election Commission of Georgia Zurab Kachkhachishvili briefed to media on 23 May.

According to Kachkhachishvili, the United Opposition will obtain 14 mandates, Christian Democrats and Labor Party 6 mandates each.

The opposition gained only 4 mandates, 2 - Republican Party and 2 United Opposition from the 75 majority constituencies. The National Movement will have 120 seats out of 150 in the parliament which is considered to be constitutional majority.
