Georgia, Tbilisi / corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia/ The Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union unambiguously notes progress in the parliamentary election held in Georgia on 21 May as compared to the previous elections, Ekaterina Tkeshelashvili, the foreign minister of Georgia said to media in Brussels.

"There was a positive conclusion that we heard from various international organizations earlier as well," the minister said.

"The European Union called on all the political circles to cooperate and maintain dialogue with each other, thus it means that the Opposition should also be serious about the elections and should take steps to begin dialogue," the Georgian foreign minister said.
