Georgian Foreign Ministry Considers Mandate of EU Observation Mission

Georgia, Tbilisi, 5 September / Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / Per Eklund, special envoy of the European Commission in Georgia and Kim Frideberg, representative of the European Union (EU) Assessment Mission considered the next mandate of the EU observation mission and principles of cooperation with Georgia at the Foreign Ministry of Georgia.

According to the Foreign Ministry, MinisterYekaterina Tkeshelashvili and chairman of Security Council Alexandr Lamaya participated in the meeting representing Georgia.

Sides will actively continue consultations and cooperation in connection with these issues in future.

Situation in the conflict regions as well was discussed at the meeting.
