French President Nicolas Sarkozy wants to meet with Georgian citizens to again expres the country's solidarity with them, French Ambassador to Georgia Eric Fournier told press on Tuesday.
He will visit Georgia on Friday within his regional tour.
He will deliver speech on Freedom Square in Tbilisi at 5:30 local time.
"This is a very important visit for us, because three years have passed since the Russian-Georgian war," he said. "We all remember Sarkozy's huge contribution to the settlement of the conflict. From my subjective point of view, this visit will be very emotional."
