The U.S. warship "Filipin C" has entered the Batumi port. As the U.S. Embassy in Georgia said on Monday, U.S. sailors will conduct exercises with the Georgian Coast Guard.

The U.S. warship "Filipin C" has entered the Batumi port. As the U.S. Embassy in Georgia said on Monday, U.S. sailors will conduct exercises with the Georgian Coast Guard.

The warship was welcomed at the port by officials of Adjara and local residents. The crew will also attend a social campaign in Batumi.

"This visit is part of the strategy of European Command and U.S. Navy. This strategy envisages ensuring regional stability and strengthening the maritime partnership," U.S. embassy in Georgia said in its report.
