Foreign tourists are dissatisfied with the high prices. They appeal to tourism information centers in Georgia.
The tourism center representative Bakuriani said that Azerbaijani tourists often made comments in relation to the hotel prices.
He said that tour operators propose high prices to tourists, so vacationers often try to book a hotel themselves.
As opposed to Bakuriani, the Svaneti data center assures that tourists do not express dissatisfaction.
The head of the National Tourism Agency has no information about the high prices. Maya Sidamonidze said that the prices existing in Georgia are offered to both foreign and local tourists. But the prices are inadequate with the services.
She said that it is not ruled out that the tourists, using the services of tour operators, have to pay more because the companies take commission.
