Georgia’s European integration discussed in Tbilisi

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and the head of the Estonian Parliament Ene Ergma discussed the issues of Estonia’s support for Georgia’s integration into the Euro-Atlantic organizations, the Georgian presidential administration told Trend.

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and the head of the Estonian Parliament Ene Ergma discussed the issues of Estonia's support for Georgia's integration into the Euro-Atlantic organizations, the Georgian presidential administration told Trend.

"The main topic was the intensification of the bilateral relations and Estonia's promotion for Georgia to integrate into Euro-Atlantic organizations," the president's administration said.

The parties also discussed the situation in Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Ergma reiterated Estonia's support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Saakashvili and Ergma also discussed the upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia in autumn.
