More than 60,000 subscribers left without electricity in West Georgia. Power lines are broken because of snowfall and this led to cessation of electricity supply, "Energo-Pro Georgia" told Trend on Sunday.

The most difficult situation is in Tsalenjikh region where snow depth is over 1 meter and it interferes recovery work.

Despite the clearing of roads, repair crew can not yet find the points of faults.

"Energo-Pro Georgia" promised to use an alternative source of energy in Western Georgia by the end of the day.
