Georgia, U.S to hold meeting within Strategic Partnership Charter

A next meeting within the Georgian-U.S. Charter on Strategic Partnership will be held in Washington on April 16.
According to Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze, this time a meeting of the "Group of democracy" will be held.
At the meeting, the Georgian delegation will be headed by the Secretary of the National Security Council Giga Bokeria, while U.S. delegation - Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, Philip Gordon.
One of the main issues at the meeting will be Georgian parliamentary elections scheduled for the autumn in terms of equal competition.
On the eve of this meeting, to be held at the initiative of the Georgian side, senior representatives of State Department held a video conference with Georgian opposition and listened to its opinions about the election situation in the country.
