Georgia, Tbilisi, June 2 / Trend N. Kirtzkhalia /

The Georgian Interior Ministry made a statement on the ongoing investigation over the blast attempt on a local employee of the Israeli Embassy in Tbilisi on February 13.

"Foreigners could be involved in this incident," the Interior Ministry said without mentioning any details.

On the same day when the driver of the Israeli Embassy in Tbilisi found an explosive device in his Hyundai Getz car, an explosive device attached to the car of the Israeli Embassy in New Delhi was detonated in the capital of India. Israeli diplomat's wife and at least three more people suffered as a result of the blast.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of committing a blast in New Delhi and blast attempt in Tbilisi.

Iran denied the accusations and called them part of "psychological war". According to Tehran, Israel committed these incidents to spoil Iran's friendly relations with India and Georgia.
