An unofficial programme of U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's visit continued until late last night.
According to the administration of the Georgian president, Mikheil Saakashvili treated Clinton to dinner in the mountainous region of Ajaria - Keda, after which they were accompanied by the First Lady Sandra Roelofs as the group walked in the night at Batumi.
At the informal dinner, Sandra Roelofs and famous Georgian singer Natia Buniatashvili played duets on the piano for the guest.
During a walk through Batumi, during which Clinton did not hide her admiration for the city and its beauties, the U.S. Secretary of State was very interested in the new buildings being built in Batumi.
She also met with teachers who teach English in Georgian schools and talked enthusiastically with them and volunteers from the United States.
Saakashvili told Clinton that there are more than 2000 foreign volunteers in Georgia, who receive pocket money of up to $200 a month and live with the locals, thus becoming familiar with Georgian culture, traditions and language.
The President of Georgia said that the idea of inviting English teachers came after he learned that the brother of Sandra Roelofs spends his time travelling to Africa and teaches English to children.
"I thought there were many such people and invited them to teach our children so that they knew first grade English. We also began to broadcast TV movies in English which caused much upset, but it paid off," he said.
Referring to the dinner Clinton said:" It's an unforgettable evening and I will never forget it."
