The body of the 28-year-old Georgian girl who died in an accident has already been delivered from Vladikavkaz to Tbilisi.
Russian border guards handed over body of Maya Kutsniashvili to the Georgian side at the Georgian-Russian Lars border checkpoint, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
Two days ago, Maya Kutsniashvili with friends was on tour in the Kazbegi district. Whilst taking photographs she stumbled and fell into the Terek. The stream swept her into Russian territory. There her body was found by Russian border guards.
The body was transported to the Vladikavkaz prosectorium.
