Georgian government seeks new business projects

A meeting was held with representatives of audit and consulting firms at "The Economic and Sustainable Development Ministry of Georgia". First Deputy Economic Minister Dmitry Kumsishvili held the first meeting.

Private sector representatives were informed that the Georgian government seeks new interesting business projects.

As Kumsishvili said, now it is very important to find new and interesting investment and business projects for the country's development.

"The idea behind the meeting is that these companies have great ties with foreign partners, who may show interest in business activities in Georgia," he said.

According to Kumsishvili, if there will be such investors, the Georgian government is ready to take a share in their business projects and partially finance them through the investment funds that are now being created.

Representatives of the audit and consulting companies welcomed the government's initiative and expressed their willingness to be involved in search for new investors and new business projects.

Details of cooperation between private companies with the Ministry will be discussed at the coming meetings.
