The Tbilisi City Court released all individuals, involved in the case on money laundering and accepting a bribe in a large scale, on bail. More was known following the last court session on Saturday.
According to judge Giorgi Arevadze's decision, former Energy and Finance Minister Alexander Khetaguri and former Minister of Education, now director general of "Rustavi-2" TV company Nika Gvaramia, former Deputy Minister of Economy Kakha Damenia, Director General of "Telasi" company Devi Kandelaki and Giorgi Nemsitsveridze and Isabella Gutidze will be released on bail.
Gvaramia, Khetaguri, Damenia Kandelaki must pay 30,000 lari during 20 days, while Nemsitsveridze and Gutidze - 15,000 lari.
Gvaramia, Khetaguri, Damenia, Kandelaki, Nemsitsveridze and Gutidze were officially charged on Friday. In particular, they are charged with fictitious business, falsifying the tax documents and attempt of getting a bribe in a large scale.
Gvaramia said during today's process that all arrests of former senior officials of President Saakashvili's government and interrogations of former ministers are intended to arrest former Prime Minister Vano Merabishvili.
