Georgia, Czech Republic discuss prospects for multilateral cooperation development

During his visit to the Czech Republic, Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze met with the chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Parliament Miroslava Nemcova and First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg.

According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, as well as the prospects for cooperation development in a multilateral format including Georgia's integration into the EU and NATO.

Georgia's successes in approaching Euro-Atlantic bodies and the Czech Republic's support in this regard were stressed.

The meeting also touched upon Russian-Georgian relations. The Georgian Foreign Minister gave interviews to local media outlets.
