Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Alasania celebrated the Easter holiday with the country's servicemen in Afghanistan.
The Georgian Defence Ministry said today that Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Vakhtang Kapanadze, Deputy Defence Minister Irakli Gegechkori and adviser to Defence Minister Waco Avaliani congratulated the Georgian peacekeepers from the 42nd and 33rd battalions located in Kabul on the French armed forces base on the Easter holiday.
A delegation from the Georgian Defence Ministry along with servicemen attended a festive liturgy in the Georgian chapel on the Shirgazi base. Georgian servicemen were given Easter gifts.
