The new Georgian Ambassador to Austria Konstantin Zaldastanishvili has presented his credentials to the President of Austria Heinz Fischer.
As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia told Trend, the meeting of the ambassador with the president took place after presenting the credentials at Hofburg Palace in Vienna.
The sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, the political situation in Georgia, upcoming parliamentary elections in Austria and the countries' relations with their neighbours.
Zaldastanishvili invited the Austrian president to visit Georgia.
