Three villages in Shida Kartli region in eastern Georgia suffered from the disaster on Wednesday.
According to region's administration, as a result of heavy rains and strong winds crops in the villages of Ditsi, Korda and Arbo in the zone of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict were destroyed, and domestic animals were killed.
Due to the rupture of power lines electricity supply to villages was disrupted.
Tomorrow a special commission will start its work to assess the damage.
