Because of the heavy seas, Poti port cannot operate at full capacity.
On Thursday the port reported that cargo handling is underway on the ships which have already berthed at the dock, but ships at anchor cannot enter the port because of the heavy storm.
The port's administration stressed that this always happens in a storm and is not extraordinary.
The choppiness had increased in the coastal areas of Poti port.
As for the situation in the city, there is no interruption in the power supply and all institutions work smoothly.
