Georgia, Tbilisi, Sept. 12 /Trend N. Kirtzkhalia/

Imedi TV company interrupted its broadcast of 'Chronicle' news program because of an alleged bomb in the building.

The host of the news program said that the 112 service received reports of a bomb planted in the building of the TV company.

At the moment, employees of the TV company are being evacuated, reruns of old programs are on the air.

The police have cordoned off the TV company's building. Sappers are waiting at the incident site.

It should be noted that earlier today, the same warning was received at Rustavi-2 TV. Employees were also evacuated there, but the search for a bomb lasting two hours turned up nothing. The evacuated employees returned to the building.

Meanwhile, Rustavi- 2 was broadcasting from a backup studio.

It should be noted that previously false calls about bombs planted in the Georgian parliament have been made twice. At that time, two phone terrorists - a 65 year old pensioner, and a 17 year old were detained. The pensioner was trying to attract attention to his problems and the youth was playing a practical joke.
