Representatives of the Council of Europe noted an improvement in the election environment in Georgia in comparison to previous years, Chairman of the Georgian Parliament David Bakradze said on Wednesday, after a meeting with the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).

"We had an interesting conversation on technical and policy issues. I would like to note that the representatives of the Council of Europe marked an improvement in the election environment in Georgia. They said they judged this on various indicators and sources," he said.

According to him, the presidential elections in Georgia will be observed by the missions of many international organizations.

"I can proudly say that we will be able to hold elections in Georgia without falsifications," Bakradze said.
