The visa regime between Georgia and Israel is abolished.

As Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said to the journalists on Thursday, only technical issues remained to solve.

"Israel has done it, and our guests have brought this gift. The visa regime is abolished and the Georgians will be able to go to Israel without a visa," he stressed.

This information was also confirmed by the Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Zeev Elkin, who is on a visit to Georgia.

According to him, today a meeting will be held with Interior Minister Irakli Garibashvili. The details of the visa regime abolition will be specified at the meeting.
