Defense Minister Irakli Alasania and Justice Minister Thea Tsulukiani will remain in their posts in the new government,Georgia's acting Interior Minister that was presented to the post of the country's Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said on Nov.8.

"Thea Tsulukiani and Irakli Alasania will maintain their posts in the new Cabinet of Ministers," he said, answering the journalists' questions about the intentions of the two ministers to leave their posts.

According to Garibashvili, there will be changes only in the Main Prosecutor's Office of Georgia's Interior Ministry.

Earlier, Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said that he intends to leave politics on Nov.24, after a week after the inauguration of Georgia's new president Giorgi Margvelashvili and after this Garibashvili will be presented to the post of Prime Minister.

The Georgian presidential elections were held on October 27.

The candidate from the ruling "Georgian Dream" coalition, Giorgi Margvelashvili won in the presidential elections with 62.11 percent of votes.
