The Georgian president's spokesperson Manana Manjgaladze has resigned. She held the last press conference as a press secretary on Nov.15.

At the press conference she thanked President Mikheil Saakashvili, as well as department staff, the administration and journalists for the four-year cooperation. According to Manjgaladze, people with inhuman resources worked at the administration.

"We had people working since the days of Eduard Shevardnadze. I will not give statistics of how many people they have helped and in what ways have worked," Manjgaladze said.

The spokesperson also spoke about the issue of the Georgian president's residence. According to Manjgaladze, she would like the residence to remain under the authority of the new president, as it "has the facility to receive guests adequately".

According to Manjgaladze, she is proud of the fact that all these years she worked with Mikheil Saakashvili.

The inauguration of the newly elected Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili will take place on Nov.17.
