Within the Vilnius summit of the Eastern Partnership on Nov.29, there will be a signed framework agreement on Georgia's participation in European Union civilian assignments and military operations, Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze said at a briefing on Nov.27.

According to the minister, Georgia has reached a noticeable progress in the implementation of the action plan on liberalization of the visa regime that will be positively assessed at the summit.

"In addition, the summit will also record Georgia's success in other priority areas of cooperation with the European Unio and in particular, in terms of rapprochement in the spheres of energy, transport and education.

A joint declaration will be worked out at the summit. Alongside the positive assessment of progress, this declaration will also determine the priorities of future cooperation with the European Union," Panjikidze said.
