Georgian former Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili gave his first interview to Russian Forbs after leaving his post.
"I promised and guarantee that the authorities will create a real democratic country and will never be corrupt," he noted.
Ivanishvili also discussed his citizenship.
"I am still a French citizen, but I hope that my Georgian citizenship will be restored by late December upon the Supreme Court's decision," he said.
Ivanishvili served as prime minister for nearly a year since the Georgian parliamentary elections held in October 2012.
